A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react to comments made by Robbie Fowler hinting that a current Premier League star would thrive under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
Reds fans will likely be looking forward to the summer after an incredibly difficult season. The champions have been decimated by injuries to key players throughout the campaign.

But even when he has a full squad back, Klopp may well have hopes of strengthening his ranks over the coming months. And Fowler has suggested one player who is bound to be on his radar.
Ollie Watkins has largely enjoyed an amazing first season in the top flight. He has scored 13 goals following his £28 million move to Aston Villa.
And Fowler suggested that he is exactly the kind of player who could really take his game to the next level if he got the chance to work with Klopp on Merseyside.

“I’m not trying to sell Watkins, but he’s taken the step up every time so far, and I can see him doing it again. To the very top level, if he can keep the trajectory of his work rate, attitude and mentality,” he told the Sunday Mirror (9/5; page 65).
“Interestingly, Jurgen Klopp absolutely sang his praises a few weeks ago and you definitely see someone with his pressing ability – and the stats to go with it – doing well under that sort of manager.”
Of course, Fowler’s suggestion was not helped by Watkins getting sent off hours after the former Reds striker’s claim was made.
And in truth, it does appear that many Liverpool fans are not as convinced about Watkins as Fowler seems to be.
‘Not clinical enough’
It does seem that Liverpool need to sign a new striker this summer. But some of the supporters do not believe that meeting Villa’s asking price for Watkins would be a good idea – considering it is bound to be considerably higher than £28 million.
With that in mind, here is how some of the Liverpool fans have reacted to Fowler’s comments on Watkins…
