Liverpool fans discuss Luis Diaz display, as Reds beat Porto on Wednesday night

Luis Diaz came up against Liverpool with Porto on Wednesday night but failed to have any kind of impact – and Reds fans have reacted on Twitter.

Diaz, 24, has been in excellent form for Porto this season, scoring 11 goals in 18 games for the Portuguese outfit. On Wednesday, he faced Liverpool.

The 31-time Colombia international started on the left flank, coming up against Neco Williams. He lasted the entire 90 minutes.

He should have had an assist early on. Porto broke, and Diaz’s electrifying pace made some Liverpool defenders look as through they were stood still.

He squared to Otavio to score, but the Porto man was put under pressure by Konstantinos Tsimikas and missed a golden chance – shooting wide.
