Liverpool fans discuss former player Suso as he impresses against Wales

Some Liverpool fans have taken to social media to discuss the performance of Suso against Wales on Thursday.

The winger was handed a start by Luis Enrique, after some good early season form with AC Milan.

The star laid on two assists for Sergio Ramos and Marc Bartra, and looks like he could start playing more of a part for La Roja.

It was only his second cap, but Suso appeared unfazed by the occasion and looked dangerous and full of confidence.

He’s been doing well with Milan too, having scored two goals and made six assists in just seven games.

Suso is an ex-Red, of course

Suso played for Liverpool between 2012-15, but only made a total of 21 apperances for the club.

Despite lots of promise, Suso failed to convince then-manager Brendan Rodgers of his ability, which was raw at the time.

The winger left Anfield in January 2015 to join the Rossoneri, and in the last couple of seasons he has really started to prove himself, despite Milan underwhelming as a collective.

He has showcased impressive flair and creativity which, combined with his speed, make him a very dangerous player.

Those things were on display for Spain against Wales at the Principality Stadium.

Suso didn’t give Tottenham defender Ben Davies much peace, and the full-back was hooked by Ryan Giggs after a  hour.

Liverpool fans on Suso

Suso’s performance for the national team prompted some Liverpool fans to express their regret over their former player.

Many were impressed with his contributions, leaving some to wonder how he might have developed if given a proper chance at Anfield:
