'He can't complain': Liverpool fans confused with Klopp for pre-Watford comment
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was on one yesterday in his pre-match press conference ahead of Watford, as he laid into the England under-21s for playing Curtis Jones in Andorra.
Jones was brought into the fold by Lee Carsley and ended up playing a key role in what was a tight 1-0 win for the Young Lions. However, Klopp hinted that the inclusion of Jones was unnecessary, as he lamented the injury to his young midfielder.
“When we talk about federations, Curtis Jones came back from England U21s injured. Great! It’s hard to get in touch with them. They played Andorra, really important he played there,” Klopp complained.
It means the Reds will be without both Jones and fellow youngster Harvey Elliott through injury. The injury to Jones adds further insult to the fact that Fabinho will also be missing through quarantine issues.
However, discussing the issue on Twitter, it seems Liverpool fans don’t have much sympathy for their manager. Indeed, some believe the club are paying the price for not replacing Gini Wijnaldu,
Here, then, is what some Liverpool fans had to say on Jurgen Klopp and his comments on Curtis Jones.
Don’t wanna hear any complaints from klopp about injuries when he very well knew what the lack of squad depth would do and was happy with it

He should stop moaning & get on with it.
He has Keita & the dynamic Ox which cannot be bought in the market

Can’t really be angry about that. It’s up to the national coach to decide which player he wants for each game. It’s not his fault that we have so many injury prone players and other issues going on.

What happens when you have a paper thin squad I guess.

He can’t complain. Everybody saw that coming

Why oh why didn’t we replace Gini’s minutes? If he won’t trust Keita or Ox in certain fixtures then they’re not cover at all
