Liverpool fans couldn’t believe Carragher left Salah out of his Team of the Season

Liverpool fans are baffled by Jamie Carragher’s decision to leave out Mohamed Salah in his Premier League Team of the Season.

Speaking on Monday Night Football, the former Merseyside defender selected his best XI for the 2020/21 Premier League season, with the likes of Harry Kane, Bruno Fernandes and N’Golo Kante making the final team, with Carragher selecting zero Liverpool players after Jurgen Klopp’s side failed to retain the title and are currently outside the top four in the standings.

Yet despite this poor season from Liverpool, Salah has been one shining light for the Reds, with the Egyptian winger scoring 20 goals in the league this campaign, just one off Kane in the Golden Boot race and three more than Heung-min Son, who made Carragher’s best XI, and Liverpool fans on social media were not best pleased with this decision.
