Liverpool were linked with Franck Kessie over the summer and, with his contract expiring next summer, could still be keeping tabs on him.
Gazzetta dello Sport reported in July that the Reds were eyeing the AC Milan midfielder.
“They’re offering a lot in terms of salary, especially given his contract’s expiring (next summer).”
Earlier this month, Il Milanista claimed Paolo Maldini will float the idea of a swap deal between Kessie and Thiago Alcantara when the two meet in the Champions League.
Tonight,. the two sides lock horns at Anfield, and Liverpool fans will have the chance to see the 24-year-old up close, as he’s in the squad.
