Liverpool fans convinced huge transfer hint is hidden in Milos Kerkez announcement

Liverpool are having an incredible summer transfer window so far.

The Reds earlier today wrapped up a £40 million deal for Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez, their third signing of the summer.

The Merseyside outfit announced the left-back only days after confirming the arrival of Florian Wirtz on a British record fee, adding to what’s already shaping up to be a busy window, with Jeremie Frimpong joining Liverpool early on.

But Liverpool’s business in the market may not be done just yet as fans believe the club have dropped a big hint.

Fans convinced Liverpool have dropped a big hint on another signing after Milos Kerkez

Fans have noted that the placement of the announcement photos has sparked further speculation.

With Wirtz positioned on the right of what appears to be a trio of side-by-side seats during his announcement photoshoot and Kerkez in the middle, some fans are convinced the club is building toward another reveal.

The consistent graphic style and the intentional rollout have only reinforced this theory.

One drew comparisons to previous coordinated announcement campaigns, like last summer’s campaign featuring Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, and Endo: “Spotted that too! Remember the Szobsozlai, Mac, Grav and Endo photo all came together at the end? 👀”

Another said: “Damn we dropping cryptic messages now, I prayed for times like this.”

A third said: “They are definitely cooking something!”

Some showed curiosity about why Jeremie Frimpong, despite being signed earlier, wasn’t part of a similar style of announcement.

Some were quick to speculate over who could be taking the last seat, with most predicting it is either Marc Guehi or Alexander Isak.

One said: “Marc (Guehi) is going to be on the left.”

Another predicted: “Guehi or maybe even… ISAK”

A third stated: “I bet it’s Isak. 100% confirmed.”

Liverpool to focus on outgoings before any further additions

While fans continue to speculate on social media, Liverpool’s next concrete moves are expected to involve outgoings.

So far, Liverpool have agreed to sell Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen for £18m and Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford in a deal worth £18m. They have also sold Nat Phillips to West Brom for £3m, while the Reds got Real Madrid to pay £10m for the early release of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

However, more departures are expected. Darwin Nunez is expected to leave Liverpool, with Napoli showing strong interest, while Luis Diaz is also up for sale after Liverpool backed away from contract talks with Diaz.

It’s understood that once Liverpool complete the necessary sales, the focus will shift back to incomings. A new striker and a centre-back are high on the agenda.

Isak remains Liverpool’s dream target, while Victor Osimhen has also been discussed by the Reds recently.

In defence, Guehi has emerged as a top target for Liverpool, however, they may not spend big on him this summer since they can potentially get him for free next year.
