Liverpool kept up their Premier League title charge with an emphatic 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter picked out Andy Robertson for his brilliant display.

Jurgen Klopp’s team were dazzling in a big home win at Anfield against already relegated Huddersfield and they moved back to the top of the league table.

The Merseyside club are now two points above rivals Manchester City, who play their game in hand at the weekend away to Burnley.

Liverpool have just two league games remaining in their season and have now moved up to a colossal 91 points, but yet somehow the advantage is still with Manchester City.

Naby Keita opened the scoring against Huddersfield after just 15 seconds for a dream start, before usual suspects Sadio Mane (two) and Mohamed Salah (two) also got on the scoresheet.

A selection of Liverpool fans on social media picked out defender Robertson for his display on Friday night.

The 25-year-old left-back was rarely tested defensively, but proved once again how deadly and important he is going forward.

He provided two assists against Huddersfield with pin-point crosses into the box, which means he’s now supplied 13 goals across all competitions and 11 have come in the league.
