Trent Alexander-Arnold has left some Liverpool fans in awe after a video of him scoring a brilliant solo goal in England training did the rounds on social media.

The full-back is currently on international duty with the Three Lions.

The 22-year-old missed out last week against Wales with Kieran Trippier captaining the side and Ainsley Maitland-Niles coming on to replace him, but was handed a start for the Nations League game against Belgium as a right wing-back with Kyle Walker operating as a right centre-back.

Alexander-Arnold had people talking about him even before Sunday evening’s game against Belgium, when a video of him scoring a great goal in training found its way onto social media courtesy of England’s official account.

In the clip, Alexander-Arnold receives the ball from Eric Dier in the penalty area and dummies the ball to make space away from Declan Rice.

He then spins Manchester United captain Harry Maguire before wriggling between him and Rice and tapping home to round off a beautiful piece of play.

It was a brilliant show of technical quality, something that Liverpool supporters have become very used to over the past couple of years.

Although he isn’t so known for intricately dribbling past players, that technical quality he possesses really makes his training goal easy to understand.

Liverpool fans went wild for it on social media:
