Liverpool went nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table after running out 2-0 winners at Bournemouth on Saturday.
Liverpool opened the scoring in the 30th minute of the match as Mohamed Salah converted a penalty after Cody Gakpo was brought down in the box.
However, the Reds struggled to put the game beyond the reach of the Cherries until midway through the second half.
Liverpool’s crucial second came in the 75th minute as Luis Diaz found Curtis Jones, who then teed Salah up for a superb curling finish.
Liverpool fans on social media had plenty to say about Jones, who came on as a substitute for Alexis Mac Allister on the hour.
