Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson claimed his 50th cap for England last night during a 5-1 win over Montenegro.
The 28-year-old was handed his debut by Fabio Capello in 2010, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2-1 defeat to France.

Since then the midfielder hasn’t looked back and picked up cap number 50 when he replaced Dele Alli in the 64th minute.
Henderson played in every game which England won at the World Cup during the summer of 2018 and is seemingly a key player for Gareth Southgate’s team.
The Liverpool man isn’t the most spectacular footballer the world will ever see, although he is integral to the way in which England currently play.
His presence in the middle of the park allows the attacking quality in Southgate’s team the platform to shine.
Given his age, there is nothing to suggest that Henderson won’t bring up another 50 caps for his country.

Following last night’s game, the ex-Sunderland man was subject of a Twitter post by Liverpool which congratulated him on bringing up the milestone.
Naturally the Reds faithful were quick to offer their messages of support to their skipper and also took to Twitter.
We rounded up the best tweets regarding Henderson as he made it 50 not out for England.
