Liverpool stayed top of the Premier League last night following a 5-0 demolition job on hapless Watford.

The Reds were in sensational form in front of a raucous Anfield crowd and found the way to goal.

Braces from Sadio Mane and Virgil Van Dijk came either side of a Divock Origi goal, despatch the Hornets with ease.

Boss Jurgen Klopp will have been delighted to see his side back to their fluent best, following a few disjointed performances.

It was the inclusion of the Belgian Origi that perhaps caused some intrigue.

The striker had not started a game since December but made a goalscoring return and played pretty well.

The 23-year-old spent last season on loan with Wolfsburg and it was unsure what the future would hold for the talisman.

With a plethora of attacking talent, anyone who does enter the fray must grasp the opportunity with both hands.

Origi definitely did that last night and stepped-up in the absence of Roberto Firmino.
