Liverpool will face Bournemouth at Anfield tomorrow afternoon looking to get back on track after three defeat in four games in all competitions.

The Reds have lost to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Watford in the Premier League and Chelsea in the FA Cup.

Although they have represented the first defeats for some time, Liverpool will want to win and do it in style against the Cherries tomorrow.

Defender Virgil van Dijk is certainly hoping to get back on track. He will probably captain the team tomorrow with Jordan Henderson still struggling and has taken to Twitter ahead of the game.

He has stated that he can’t wait to take to the field in front of the club’s home supporters after some tough away days:

The Dutch defensive warrior is paid £180,000-a-week at Anfield and has been a mainstay in the team this season.

Liverpool haven’t been accustomed to losing and they will be keen to get back on track tomorrow.

Although winning the title looks like a foregone conclusion, the last thing Jurgen Klopp will want is for his team to limp over the line.

He will want his team back at it and with the second leg against Atletico in midweek, Liverpool will want to get the confidence soaring.

Van Dijk is the Holland captain and has played 33 times for his country.

Since arriving at Liverpool he has played 111 times, scoring 11 goals in the process.

Home comforts might be just what Liverpool crave at the moment and if Van Dijk and his team-mates can get back on track, it would certainly calm things down a little bit.

Great sides don’t become bad overnight and Liverpool have a real chance to flex their champions-elect status against Bournemouth.
