Liverpool could sign both Amrabat and Bellingham in 2023 - journalist

Football journalist Dharmesh Sheth has suggested that Liverpool could sign a new midfielder in each of the next two transfer windows – Sofyan Amrabat in January and Jude Bellingham next summer.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have had a really poor campaign so far. They’ve won just six of their first 14 Premier League games, and without reinforcements in January, they could struggle to even make it into the top four.

A new midfielder appears to be the priority for Liverpool – Amrabat and Bellingham have both been heavily linked with a move to Anfield.

Journalist suggests Liverpool could sign both Amrabat and Bellingham in 2023

Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp have come under a ton of criticism for their form in the Premier League since the start of this season. Many feel their biggest issue is their midfield.

The likes of Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Fabinho have come under fire for their performances, which is probably why Liverpool have been linked with a move to sign so many midfielders

Amrabat and Bellingham are two names in the papers almost every day over the last few weeks, and Sheth now believes they could both end up at Liverpool in 2023 – one in January and the other in the summer transfer window.

He told GiveMeSport: “I just wonder whether Amrabat would be best going to a club where they’re going to buy him outright. We’ve seen the makeup of the Liverpool midfield and we’ve talked about it before.

“Who’s to say Amrabat and Bellingham [both can’t join]?

“If Liverpool could get Amrabat in January, Bellingham in the summer, and play them next to each other next season. A frightening prospect.”

That would be an incredible midfield pairing, wouldn’t it?

Both Bellingham and Amrabat were absolutely outstanding for England and Morocco respectively at the World Cup in Qatar, and they’re both wanted men now.

Amrabat, who plays for Fiorentina, is very likely to be on the move in the January transfer window. He has been linked with plenty of clubs over the last few weeks, and it really does look like it’s only a matter of time before he joins a big club.

Bellingham, on the other hand, will likely stay at Dortmund until the summer. Almost every top club in the world will try to sign him then, but reports have claimed he wants to join Liverpool, and it will be interesting to see if that will still be the case in the summer.
