Reports in the Mirror this weekend indicated that Liverpool were interested in Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, whose contract expires this summer.
The Reds should prioritise the swoop for Ramsey, as Jurgen Klopp can revive Ramsey’s career; just as he did with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain last year.
Ramsey has made 339 Arsenal appearances since joining as a youngster from Cardiff City, but has struggled with injury and form in recent years. Similarly to Oxlade-Chamberlain, there were high hopes for him at Arsenal, but it appears his time in north London is rapidly drawing to a close.

Yet Arsenal’s loss can become Liverpool’s gain, as Ramsey is a supremely talented creative impetus who can both score and create goals with aplomb.
Anfield would be an ideal destination for the Welshman, where Ramsey can flourish under the management of Klopp. The Liverpool boss can utilise Ramsey’s attacking genius with great effect, while delivering a boost to his career.
Ramsey bagged 11 goals and 12 assists last year in just 32 appearances, and can be a dynamic presence in the final third for Liverpool.
The Reds would do well to pinch the Welshman from Arsenal and revive his career, following the example of Oxlade-Chamberlain.
