Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on three of his academy stars as Liverpool prepare to face Midtjylland in the Champions League tomorrow night (Liverpool Echo).
The Premier League champions are already guaranteed a place in the last 16 of the competition and Klopp could rest some star players for the trip to Denmark.

Several players are still nursing injuries with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez out of action long-term.
The Liverpool boss has been forced to utilise some of his academy players this term and he’s chosen three for praise.
Rhys Williams, Neco Williams and Curtis Jones all featured against Ajax, with Jones grabbing the winner.
Ahead of tomorrow’s game, Klopp told the media of his admiration for the young trio.
He told the Liverpool Echo: “We had some problems for injuries, that is clear. We lost top-class players but when one door closes another opens up but you need the right kids to use.
“And how the boys did it…Rhys exceptional, Neco played two good games in a row. Curtis plays like he’s been playing 10 years.”

Jones has probably been the standout performer of the club’s younger players and he will be rested tomorrow night.
He has a minor injury and is unlikely to be risked by Klopp.

Both Rhys and Neco Williams could start though as the Liverpool boss looks to shuffle his pack.
One thing that has been admirable about the Reds has been Klopp’s willingness to utilise his academy stars.
The boss has never been let down by any of the exciting talents and the conveyor belt shows no sign of stalling.
