Jurgen Klopp gave his take on Liverpool’s Club World Cup final opponents Flamengo, and referred to three players who could potentially do some damage to his side.
The Reds will take on the Brazilian Serie A champions in Doha this evening, and stand to win the trophy for the first time in their history.
Liverpool edged past Mexican side Monterrey in their semi-final, and must now face the South American giants, who are managed by Jorge Jesus.

Speaking in a press conference, an excited Klopp told reporters: “It is a really good team. Gabigol probably will play up front if nothing happens between now [and the game], Henrique is a strong player, if Diego is coming on, very experienced and I know him from the Bundesliga like a few other players.
“It’s not about one player but the impression was really, really positive and that’s how it is.”
It is interesting Klopp should point out Gabigol, who was recently linked with a possible move to Anfield after stating his desire to play with compatriot Roberto Firmino (Daily Mail).
TBR’s view – Liverpool must respect Flamengo
Liverpool have to make sure they don’t underestimate Flamengo, who blew the competition away to win their league this year.

Of course, the standard in Brazil is not quite as high as England, but there are still plenty of talented players, with many of them playing for Flamengo.
The rejuvenated Gabigol – who scored 34 in 41 – is the obvious danger, but veteran playmaker Diego – who played for Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen while Klopp was manager of Borussia Dortmund – is one to watch.
