Liverpool and Manchester City are fighting tooth and nail at the top of the Premier League this season. The Reds could finish on 97 points and still finish second such is the nature of the fierce battle.
There was also very little to separate the two sides in last night’s FA Youth Cup Final.
Liverpool edged it. After coming from behind to equalise in the 86th minute, it was the Reds who came out victorious following a penalty shootout.
It was Bobby Duncan, so often the saviour for Liverpool’s youngsters this season, who scored the equalising goal. His speculative effort cancelling out Nabil Touaizi’s first-half strike.

The 17-year-old striker has been in fine form this season. In all competitions, he has scored 25 goals and claimed seven assists.
It will have been a sickener for City who released Duncan prior to his switch to join the academy at Anfield. The young talisman holds no grudges though and posted a heartfelt message following the game:
After paying his respects it was time to celebrate, however, and he posted another tweet shortly after the niceties towards his former club:
