Liverpool starlet Bobby Duncan is set to join Serie A outfit Fiorentina after a compromise was reached between all parties, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Italian club are poised to land the highly-rated striker for a fee in the region of £1.8 million, whilst a 20% sell-on clause will also be inserted.
It had been thought that Duncan might get the chance to impress Jurgen Klopp this season after playing a sizeable part in the club’s pre-season schedule.
With Rhian Brewster further up the pecking order, however, those chances look slim and he has now opted to look elsewhere.

At 18 a season playing for the under-23s wouldn’t have been bad for his development. Last season he netted 25 goals for the under-18s; helping them to the FA Youth Cup title.
Other European clubs had shown interest in Duncan but Fiorentina now looks to have won the race to sign the Liverpool talisman.
TBR Verdict – Duncan could be the one that got away for Liverpool
This seems like good business on the face of it right now but in years to come Liverpool could well live to regret this decision.
Duncan is a natural-born goalscorer and should be capable of producing the goods in men’s football.
Obviously, the proof will be in the performances but he does have all the attributes to make a success of his move to Serie A.

The cousin of former Liverpool favourite Steven Gerrard was seemingly a certain Anfield star of the future, but he looks to be off before he’s ever really got going.
Liverpool fans love to see their own talented youngsters make the step-up to the first-team and they would have relished Duncan emerging through the ranks given his exploits last season.
Only time will tell whether this decision will haunt Liverpool.
