Liverpool youngster Bobby Adekanye has posted an emotional goodbye message to the club’s supporters on Twitter.
The 20-year-old failed to make a first-team appearance for the Reds after joining from Barcelona in 2015. This season he played 13 times for the club’s Under-23 outfit, scoring three goals.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Adekanye will pen a four-year contract at Lazio, although that is yet to be officially confirmed by the Italian giants.

The Dutchman is capable of playing as a number ten or on either flank. He was an highly-rated member of the club’s academy but has opted to depart with his contract due to expire.
Adekanye posted his goodbye message on Twitter earlier today:
The attacker claims that he arrived at Anfield as a boy and will leave as a man. He will probably hope that his experiences with the club’s academy teams will put him in good shape as he attempts to get into Lazio’s first-team.
Following his decision to post such a heartfelt message to his Twitter, Liverpool fans were quick to thank him for his efforts with the academy.
