Liverpool and Tottenham set to miss out on Vlahovic transfer
Dusan Vlahovic is set to snub Liverpool and Tottenham.
The Serbian forward was the subject of a lot of transfer speculation over the summer.
However, he stayed put at Fiorentina for the season, even if a move now looks more on the cards than ever.
After that summer of rumours and whispers, it’s now been reported that Vlahovic has chosen his next club.
Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, via ViolaNews, claim that Vlahovic will snub the Premier League to sign for Juventus.
This will come as a blow to both Liverpool and Tottenham.
Both of the Premier League sides wanted to sign the player over the summer.
It’s even been reported today that Newcastle are willing to join the race for the £50m rated man alongside Liverpool and Spurs (The Sun).
Having scored 35 goals in his time with Fiorentina (Transfermarkt), it’s clear that the 22-year-old knows Serie A inside out.
He’ll only kick on to score more goals at Juventus if that move does happen.

However, this does come as a huge blow to both of the top six English sides.
Goalscorers are hard to come by and given the Serbian’s prowess in front of goal he’d have been a brilliant coup.
Instead, it will be back to the drawing board.
Spurs will be forced to try and find another striker to either partner or replace Harry Kane.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will be looking to add to their already fearsome frontline.
Both Nuno Espirito Santo and Jurgen Klopp have lofty ambitions at their clubs and Vlahovic would have been a major coup.
As it happens, that looks like it’s not to be as Juventus will reportedly poach the bright star from Fiorentina.
