A player said to be on the radar of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur has been deemed the best youngster in world football by Julio Maldonado, as published on Marca.
According a March report by Spanish outlet Sport, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds and Jose Mourinho’s Spurs are just two of the clubs keen on Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
However, as well as the Liverpool and Tottenham, Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also said to be eager to sign the 17-year-old.

Despite his young age, Camavinga has already clocked 43 appearances for Rennes, including 36 this season.
His prodigious performances in midfield have helped Rennes qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their history, finishing the curtailed Ligue 1 season in third place.
“Rennes’ left-footed midfielder has only scored one goal, but what a goal it was against Lyon,” wrote Maldonado in Marca.
“Very good movement of the ball, great recuperator, has the quality to play short, and only 17 years old.
“He’s already beginning to appear in the French Under-21s at his age, and he can play on the inside or as a pivot. He has it all.”
TBR View:
Camavinga burst into the world football spotlight with a stunning performance against Paris Saint-Germain back in August, and is already a France Under-21 international.
The composed, skilful box-to-box midfield player looks to have a huge future ahead of him, just like Rennes alumni Sylvain Wiltord, Yann M’Vila and Ousmane Dembele.
Maldonado has covered multiple World Cups and has worked in the media with El Dia Despues, Movistar, COPE and Marca covering world football, so he has seen plenty of talent.
For him to list Camavinga at number one is a huge deal, and surely it’s now only a matter of time before he ups sticks and heads to one of Europe’s elite clubs.
That said, he won’t come cheap – Rennes reportedly want €50million (£46million) for the teenager, and have seemingly made it clear to clubs that they will be “inflexible” in negotiations this summer.
