Liverpool have been dealt a significant injury blow ahead of tomorrow’s game with Bournemouth at Anfield.

Boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed earlier today that Alisson will be missing tomorrow due to a muscular injury picked up in training.

It’s not thought he will be back before the international break at the end of this month either.

Adrian is likely to deputise against the Cherries and not having the first choice stopper available is detrimental to Klopp’s plans.

The Brazilian has been a revelation since arriving prior to the 2018/19 campaign.

This season he has kept 14 clean sheets from 28 matches and is firmly established as the club’s number one.

Alisson signed from Roma for £66.8 million from Roma and earns £90,000-a-week at Anfield.

Following this latest news, Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to speak of their rage at this latest setback.

Having lost three of their last four games, the Reds desperately need a win tomorrow to get back on track.

Not having Alisson is a big blow to Liverpool and it’ll now be interesting to see how they get on tomorrow.

Adrian is good but clearly not in the same league as the 26-year-old.

Here is a selection of tweets from Liverpool supporters regarding the injury picked up by Alisson.
