Liverpool might have had a quiet summer on the incoming transfer front but they did manage to keep the vast majority of their squad from last season together.
The reigning Champions of Europe have won their first two Premier League fixtures against Norwich and Southampton, and face Arsenal at Anfield tomorrow.
Ahead of that game, a member of the squad has tied himself to a long-term deal with the club.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain missed the majority of last season through a serious knee injury but has now extended his stay on Merseyside.
The 25-year-old will now stay at Liverpool until 2023.
With 34 England caps to his name, Oxlade-Chamberlain will hope to regain his fitness and re-force his way into Gareth Southgate’s plans.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been converted into a central midfielder under Jurgen Klopp’s management and has featured in both of the team’s opening two fixtures.

Following this news, the club’s supporters have taken to Twitter to speak on whether or not they feel this is positive.
The vast majority of the Reds faithful are pleased that he is to stay and have taken well to the news.
Here is a selection of tweets regarding Oxlade-Chamberlain’s decision to put pen-to-paper:
