Liverpool are reportedly close to signing Bobby Clark from Newcastle.
According to Chronicle Live, the Reds have agreed a fee with the Magpies for the 16-year-old midfielder.
The Daily Mail reported last month that Liverpool were ahead of several other top clubs in the race for Clark.

As well as Liverpool, the likes of Spurs, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and even Bayern Munich were reportedly keen on Clark.
And now, the Anfield club appears to have pulled off a coup in potentially landing Clark for their academy.
The teenager is the son of Lee Clark, a Toon cult hero, and is highly rated at the club.
Chronicle Live claims the Magpies hoped Clark could follow in his father’s footsteps at the club.

Players of Clark’s age at Newcastle usually see out a scholarship until the age of 17 before signing a professional contract.
However, Liverpool appear to have stolen a march and are reportedly eager to get the deal over the line as soon as possible.
Clark made his Under-18 debut for Newcastle in September 2019 at the age of 14, and has been tipped for big things in the game.
There were claims earlier in the year that Clark was offered to Spurs and they rejected the chance to sign him.
However, his father denied these claims on Instagram.
