Spurs have announced the appointment of Marco Savorani as their new goalkeeping coach.
The 56-year-old links up with Antonio Conte at Tottenham having recently concluded a seven-year spell at Roma.
Savorani previously worked with Liverpool star Alisson Becker, who sung the new Spurs man’s praises when he moved to Anfield.

“In Italy I learned a lot thanks to Marco Savorani, who was crucial in helping both me and Wojciech Szczesny develop,” Alisson told the Roma website in 2018.
“He is one of the most important people in my life, he helped me on and off the pitch.”
Indeed, Savorani has been deemed the primary reason behind the rapid improvement in recent years of Alisson and Wojciech Szczesny during their time in Serie A.
In January, leading Roma fansite Chiesa Di Totti wrote an article urging the club to keep Savorani at the club, but he ended up leaving at the end of the season.
Prior to his Roma stint, the highly-rated coach worked with Conte at Siena, having previously held similar roles at Atalanta, Chievo and Piacenza.
Savorani joins Cristian Stellini, Ryan Mason, Gianluca Conte, Costantino Coratti, Gian Piero Ventrone and Stefano Bruno in Conte’s backroom team.
