Adam Lallana continues his fine form
With four goals and an assist in his last four matches, Adam Lallana could rightly consider himself to be in the form of his life as the attacking option in Liverpool’s midfield three alongside Jordan Henderson and Georgino Wijnaldum.
His goal against Stoke came at just the right time, with half-time nearing and the Reds behind by a goal to nil. He burst through and was ready to pounce when Glen Johnson slipped up to gift him the ball, with his finish beating Lee Grant at his near post to bring the scores back level.
The ex-Southampton man has come on leaps and bounds since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp, though he believes that the German is not the main reason for his improvement, and he will be looking to maintain this fine run.
