Liverpool gem Jake Cain – the new Jordan Henderson?
Cain was in and around the Liverpool first-team last season.
He made nine Champions League matchday squads and two Premier League matchday squads in 2020-21.
In 2019-20, meanwhile, Cain made his Reds debut, in the FA Cup fourth round replay win over Shrewsbury.

According to the Echo, regular observers say his running power and is something to behold.
Indeed, there have even been early comparisons to Jordan Henderson, added the outlet.
At Under-23 level, Cain scored six goals and claimed five assists from 17 Premier League 2 appearances last term.
He also scored in one of his three EFL Trophy appearances in 2020-21.
It’s a superb tally for a midfielder and it clearly shows he’s ready for a step up – will it be next season?
