Arsenal put in one of their all-time great Premier League performances on Monday evening.
The Gunners beat Sheffield United 6-0 on Monday, and even then the scoreline doesn’t tell the whole story.
The north London club were 3-0 up after 15 minutes, and had they not taken their foot off the gas, they could’ve hit the Blades for 10.
As you can imagine, fans and pundits alike are fawning over Arsenal right now, but, speaking on Premier League Productions, Michael Owen did have a negative spin on last night’s game.
Indeed, Owen says that while Arsenal were brilliant, he is a bit concerned by the fact Gabriel Martinelli came off early, seemingly with an injury.

Michael Owen worried by Gabriel Martinelli injury
Owen spoke about the Brazilian coming off prematurely.
“It was a comfortable night’s work, I’d be a little bit concerned about Martinelli coming off, but other than that, it was an absolutely perfect night,” Owen said.
Should be fine
Martinelli coming off is a bit of a worry, but, realistically, Arsenal should be fine here.
Leandro Trossard and Emile Smith Rowe are two more than capable replacement for Martinelli, and, in all honesty, it didn’t look as though Martinelli’s injury would be one that will keep him out for a long time.
The most important thing for Arsenal right now is to continue their incredible form, and while injuries are a bump in the road, Martinelli going off in this game shouldn’t derail what has been an incredible period of form for Arsenal.
The north London club look to be good value for a title challenge right now, and we’re very excited to see how this three-way race between Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City pans out.
This is a huge period for Arsenal, and while Martinelli’s injury is a blow, they should be able to cope.
