Reported Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Kai Havertz has been named as one of Lionel Messi’s top 15 football prodigies.
The 20-year-old has been sensational for Bayer Leverkusen over the past few years, clocking up 139 senior appearances already despite his young age.
In terms of goal contributions, Havertz has netted 38 times and claimed 30 assists in all competitions for the Bundesliga side.
In addition, he has already won seven caps for Germany, so it’s little surprise that he is being linked with some of Europe’s top clubs.

Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are all said to be keen on the Leverkusen ace, according to Goal.
Barcelona and Argentina talisman Messi has been asked to name his 15 “youth on the rise” players for Topps Champions League cards and Havertz made the cut.
“His composure in front of goal is so impressive for such a young player,” wrote Messi, as quoted by Give Me Sport.
TBR View:
Havertz’s exploits for Bayer Leverkusen and Germany have been so impressive that it’s little surprise for him to be linked with the world’s top clubs.
One of the hottest properties in world football right now, it’s also unsurprising to see Messi name him along with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jadon Sancho and Kylian Mbappe in his shortlist.
He would improve any team, so if the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool want his services, they must be prepared to spend big, big money on him.
