Nottingham Forest star Joe Lolley has been linked with a move to Aston Villa ahead of the summer window and he may just have endeared himself to Villa fans even more, after posting his verdict on Birmingham City’s fans.
The Blues fanbase has come under attack since Sunday’s Second City derby. A Birmingham fan, since named as Paul Mitchell, ran onto the pitch and attacked Villa star Jack Grealish from behind – flooring the playmaker.
The incident sent Twitter into a frenzy. Grealish went on to score the winner in a narrow 1-0 win, with an excellent left-footed effort from just inside the penalty area.
Lolley, 26, was linked with a £12million move to Villa in February by The Sun. Though it remains to be seen if he is on Villa’s shortlist, Lolley may already be loved by the Villans with his Tweet about Blues fans.
What a f*cking moron, only Birmingham fans….🤮🤮

In terms of the incident itself, it is despicable. In regard to Lolley’s Tweet, Villa need a player such as the Forest star.
Lolley has been in sensational form this season. Scoring eight and creating eight more, the ex-Huddersfield Town man is becoming renowned for his long-range shooting ability.
With Villa lacking something from out wide, landing the Forest ace in the summer would be an excellent move. He would surely hit the ground running, given that he already has Villa fans onside with his view of Blues supporters.
