Gabriel Jesus is “likely to move to Arsenal” despite interest from other clubs, according to Brazilian journalist Rodrigo Oliveira.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with the Manchester City striker in recent months.

However, Arsenal aren’t the only club reportedly eyeing Jesus.

According to TuttoJuve, Tottenham lodged an official offer to sign Jesus from City earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are now considering the Brazil international as well, according to Marca.

And in May, Calciomercato claimed Jesus is on the radar of Newcastle United, AC Milan and Juventus too.

Now, Tuttojuve has published an interview with Oliveira regarding whether Jesus would be right for the Bianconeri.

“A great centre-forward”

Oliveira says Jesus would indeed be the “perfect striker”, but believes Arsenal remain in the lead for his services.

“He would be the perfect striker, for me, that’s a big yes (for Juventus),” he said, via Sport Witness.

“He played very well at City and will only leave the club because, with the arrival of Haaland, it will be difficult for him to get the right minutes.

“He’s in a good moment, he is motivated and wants to recover his starting place for Brazil.

So if he comes to Juventus, the Italian club will acquire a great centre-forward.

“But as we know here in Brazil, he is likely to move to Arsenal.”

A new centre-forward is one of the main priorities for the Gunners this summer.

Arsenal offloaded Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January and didn’t replace him.

Alexandre Lacazette will likely depart at the end of the month, leaving Mikel Arteta with just Eddie Nketiah in his ranks.
