Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been lauded by Italy legend Fabio Cannavaro, suggesting he’s on par with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 32-year-old Gunners star is looking sharp again following a difficult season last time out.
This term, Aubameyang has registered seven goals and two assists from 11 competitive games in red and white.

The Gabon international joined Arsenal to much fanfare in January 2018 from Borussia Dortmund for £56million.
Aubameyang clocked up a staggering 141 goals and 36 assists in black and yellow, earning a reputation as one of the best strikers in world football.
And for Arsenal, he has registered an impressive 92 goals and 21 assists in 159 competitive appearances.
Cannavaro, speaking to The Sun, singled out Spurs pair Son Heung-min and Harry Kane for praise, before lauding Aubameyang.
However, the 2006 World Cup winner – one of the best defenders in history – is confident he would have held his own against anyone.

“Aubameyang is also a terrific player, like Ronaldo,” said Cannavaro.
“But I wouldn’t have feared them – against prime Cannavaro, it would have been tough for anyone.”
Arsenal set to have Aubameyang available against Liverpool?
Arsenal were reportedly sweating on Aubameyang’s fitness earlier this week ahead of the Liverpool clash.
The striker missed Gabon’s World Cup qualifier against Egypt on Tuesday after picking up a calf strain against Libya four days earlier.
However, Goal.com journalist Charles Watts sought to allay any fears.
Speaking on his own YouTube channel on Tuesday, he said: “(Aubameyang) is training; he’s not injured, as far as I’m aware.
“I’ve been told he’s training today at London Colney and he is fine to play on Saturday, so good news on that front.”
