‘Like prime Ribery’: Leicester fans react to Harvey Barnes’ performance against Manchester United

Leicester and Manchester United kicked off the Boxing Day action with a fine game in the Midlands as they played out a scintillating 2-2 draw.

Marcus Rashford got the Red Devils in front, sliding in from Bruno Fernandes, before Harvey Barnes fired the Foxes level just before the break with a fine effort.

However, Edinson Cavani once again made an impact by setting up Fernandes for another goal, only for Jamie Vardy to fire the home side level at 2-2 within minutes.

A number of Leicester players played well on the day but it was midfielder Barnes who caught the eye of fans on Twitter, with his goal just the icing on the cake for his excellent performance.

Some Foxes fans seemed thoroughly impressed with their man and took time out on social media to sing his praises.
