Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is close to signing a new long-term contract with the club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Reds are in ‘the final stages’ to tying the Brazilian international down to a five-year contract until 2026.
Alisson has been one of Liverpool’s best performing players since his arrival in 2018. Moreover, the keeper played a crucial role in Jurgen Klopp’s UEFA Champions League and Premier League-winning triumphs.

The former AS Roma star took his cult hero status with Liverpool fans one step further last season when the keeper scored a 94th-minute winner against West Bromwich Albion.
Indeed, Alisson has cemented himself in Anfield folklore for generations to come following his heroics against the Baggies.
