‘Like a new signing’, ‘Deserved’ – Liverpool fans react as Adam Lallana pens new Reds deal

Adam Lallana has penned a new short-term deal with Liverpool this afternoon to see out the season and Liverpool fans have been reacting to the news on Twitter.

Lallana, widely expected to leave the club permanently over the summer, has signed on the dotted line in a move that allows him to finish the season with Jurgen Klopp’s men.

It means the England man will be around to collect his Premier League winners medal and he will be available for Klopp should the German need him in the run-in.

Lallana has struggled for game time this season at Anfield. A whole host of clubs are said to be keen on him, with Leicester one of the front-runners, according to reports.

But for now, the former Southampton man will finish the campaign at Anfield. And despite his lack of minutes, it seems the news has gone down well with Reds fans.

A whole host of Liverpool supporters took time out to react. Some were even just happy to see the club make a signing, albeit, you sense a sarcastic tone from some supporters!
