‘Like a diamond’: Some Liverpool fans erupt over exciting selection clue ahead of PNE clash

A number of Liverpool fans have spotted a clue that Mateusz Musialowski could feature for the Reds in their upcoming Carabao Cup clash.

Jurgen Klopp’s charges, fresh from their 5-0 win at Old Trafford on Sunday, will hope to reach the Carabao Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday.

Liverpool are in action away at Preston, and Klopp is likely to ring the changes, with fringe players and academy gems potentially playing.

And Musialowski is arguably one of the most talented youngsters at Kirkby.

The 18-year-old forward joined the Liverpool setup from Polish outfit Lodz in August 2020.

Musialowski has made 36 age-level appearances for the Reds, registering an impressive 15 goals and three assists.

The Poland youth international has only just turned 18, but he’s already shining for the Under-23s, with three goals from seven Premier League 2 games.

On Monday evening, the U23s were in PL2 action against Blackburn, and Musialowski wasn’t in the squad:
