Arsenal lost out to Wolves last night as Daniel Podence and Pedro Neto combined to down the Gunners in a miserable night at The Emirates.

Mikel Arteta’s men were once again poor and created little, with their goal coming from Gabriel Magalhaes. The big Brazilian was one of the only standout performers for Arsenal on the night. A night when, yet again, the Gunners’ attacking talent let the team down when it mattered.

However, Gabriel was steady in his work and held firm enough despite seeing defensive partner David Luiz and Raul Jimenez suffer a sickening clash of heads.

Twitter, then, was full of comments about Gabriel, with some Arsenal fans singling him – among a few others – out for praise despite the poor overall showing.
