As Rangers travelled to Livingston on Sunday, all eyes would have been on goalkeeper Liam Kelly.
The young stopper has been in impressive form for Livingston all season and would have been keen to continue with a good performance against his old club.
Kelly left Rangers to join Livingston permanently last summer as first-team opportunities were not guaranteed at Ibrox.
In fact, Kelly even admitted that he had to leave Rangers if he ever wanted to make it at Ibrox (The Scotsman). In a weird way, he had to prove himself away from the club before returning in the future.
But when he faced Rangers on Sunday, he made a costly error which would have disappointed him.

In front of the Rangers faithful, Kelly failed to deal with a tame long-range shot from Ryan Jack and the ball squirmed underneath his grasp and into the net.
The 23-year-old has been so consistent for Livingston this season and the howler was out of character. Kelly will learn from this error, which set Rangers on their way to a comfortable 3-0 win in the end.
And just because he made an error against Rangers, Steven Gerrard should not rule out a future reunion with Kelly.
The ex-Scotland under-21 international has the potential to become Allan McGregor’s long-term replacement but he needs to show his character and bounce back now.
