Leyton Orient fans react as club sign Tottenham youngster Kazaiah Sterling

Leyton Orient fans have been reacting to the news that Kazaiah Sterling has officially completed a loan move to the club from Tottenham Hotspur on transfer deadline day.

The 21-year-old centre-forward will spend the rest of the season with the Brisbane Road outfit, who are currently battling to stay in the Football League.

The O’s are 20th in the League Two table and are nine points above the drop zone.

Sterling, who has previously represented England at U18 level, will be hoping to catch the eye with Orient having endured a frustrating first half of the season at Doncaster Rovers.

The youngster was restricted to just four appearances because of injury, and he’ll now be raring to go and help Ross Embleton’s side avoid relegation.

Sterling has only ever made two appearances for the Tottenham first-team, his debut coming in the Champions League as an 88th-minute substitute against APOEL Nicosia in 2017.

After the frustrations of the first half of 2019/20, Sterling will be hoping for regular minutes at Orient.

Sterling is actually still injured and is to remain with Spurs a little while longer until actually joining up with his new teammates.
