A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to rejoice over Kyle Walker-Peters playing a key role in Southampton’s FA Cup fourth-round victory over Arsenal today.
Walker-Peters has made quite a name for himself since leaving Spurs and joining the Saints last year, first on loan, then permanently for a reported £12million fee.
To date, the Tottenham academy graduate has made 30 appearances for Southampton, including 20 in all competitions this season.

Today, not only did he do Saints fans proud, but also his former club’s supporters, as he helped put Spurs’ bitter rivals to the sword and out of the competition.
The right-back dealt with the threat of Gabriel Martinelli really well and was the cause of their own goal with a neat drilled cross which deflected off Gabriel Magalhaes and into their net.
Needless to say, plenty of Tottenham fans were delighted with what they saw from their former player:
The win sets up a fifth-round fixture for Southampton away at Wolves, who defeated Chorley last night.
