Europe’s top clubs might be priced out of a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to The Guardian. This is because Daniel Levy will demand up to £130m for the Denmark star.
Real Madrid and Manchester United have both been linked with Eriksen (Mirror). And with one year remaining on his Tottenham contract, it may be time for Tottenham to cash in.
But Levy is determined not to lose his star midfielder. Eriksen has been a key part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans as the midfield playmaker in the squad.

Levy will ask any interested teams to start the bidding north of £100m. And this hefty price tag is likely to turn Real Madrid and Man United away from Eriksen this summer.
Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Levy’s latest business plan. Spurs supporters are divided on this topic; obviously, they would like to keep Eriksen but if he wants to leave, it makes sense to cash in now. With one year left, they could lose a top talent for nothing.
Here are some tweets capturing the reaction of fans.
