‘Levy go and buy’, ‘without doubt’: Some Spurs fans want £55m ace following shock news
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to urge Spurs to move for Kevin De Bruyne in wake of Manchester City’s European ban.
As reported by BBC Sport, the reigning Premier League champions have been banned from European club competition for the next two seasons.
They were found to have committed “serious breaches” of UEFA’s club licensing and financial fair play regulations.
Man City have also been fined 30 million Euros (£25million) but the decision is subject to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The club will appeal against the decision to ban them, and it remains to be seen what the final outcome is.

However, with the decision as it stands, Man City will not be able to play in the Champions League or Europa League until the 2022-23 season.
This has led to plenty of speculation regarding the future of their top players and whether they would want to stay at a club unable to offer European football for the next few years.
Here is what some Tottenham fans have been saying about the news, and which player they would like to bring to Spurs:

De Bruyne joined Man City in the summer of 2015 from German side Wolfsburg for a then club record £55million (BBC Sport).
