It’s been a rollercoaster season for Tottenham Hotspur so far.
Spurs ended August top of the Premier League table and Nuno Espirito Santo won the Manager of the Month award.
However, things quickly went pear-shaped for Tottenham, who subsequently struggled under the 47-year-old.

In the end, Daniel Levy decided to sack Nuno amid increasing criticism from the Spurs fanbase.
He couldn’t have gone for a better replacement, bringing the great Antonio Conte to N17.
And this week, Levy and Fabio Paratici have pulled off another masterstroke.
On Wednesday, Spurs announced that Marco Savorani had joined the north Londoners.

The 56-year-old is one of the best goalkeeping coaches in the game, and his arrival is a coup for Tottenham.
Savorani left Roma in the summer after seven years in the job, and was credited with improving Alisson Becker and Wojciech Szczesny’s game.
“In Italy I learned a lot thanks to Marco Savorani, who was crucial in helping both me and Wojciech Szczesny develop,” Alisson told the Roma website in 2018.
“He is one of the most important people in my life, he helped me on and off the pitch.”

And in 2016, Szczesny told Il Tempo, as per the Evening Standard: “I learned more in four months at Roma than in 10 years at Arsenal.”
Prior to his Roma stint, the highly-rated coach worked with Conte at Siena, having previously held similar roles at Atalanta, Chievo and Piacenza.
In January, leading Roma fansite Chiesa Di Totti wrote an article urging the club to keep Savorani at the club.
However, the highly-rated coach didn’t stay, leaving at the end of the season, and now Tottenham have got their hands on him.
Things are nicely taking shape at Spurs and there’s plenty of optimism as the league resumes and the transfer window approaches.
