Liverpool cruised home in the Champions League last night with a comfortable 2-0 win over FC Midtjylland at Anfield.
Goals from Diogo Jota and a late Mo Salah penalty were enough for the Reds to make it two wins from two in this season’s premier European competition.
It was a subdued performance but one which possessed enough quality at times from Liverpool. A number of players had fine games, including right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The England man – who earns a reported £100k-a-week – seemed to be at the heartbeat of everything good the Reds did, and played a number of wonderful passes, helping himself to an assist and playing in Salah to win the decisive penalty.
Reds fans were all over Twitter loving what they saw from Trent, with a number of them praising the right-back.
With that, here’s how some Liverpool fans reacted to the performance of Trent Alexander-Arnold last night.
