A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted positively after reading that Spurs are reportedly trying to sign Dejan Kulusevski ahead of Arsenal.

According to Calciomercato, both Tottenham and their north London rivals have opened preliminary talks over signing the Juventus midfielder.

Spurs and Arsenal are apparently both seeking to sign Kulusevski on loan with option to buy.

They have reportedly spoken to Alessandro Lucci, the 21-year-old’s agent, about their intentions of landing Kulusevski.

Juve have been notified and “haven’t said no but haven’t said yes either”, according to Calciomercato.

Kulusevski appears to have fallen out of favour under Massimiliano Allegri and could well be on the move in 2022.

Juve, who are seeking to balance the books and boost their transfer budget, reportedly want at least £30million for the Sweden international.

Kulusevski cost the Serie A giants a reported £31.5million from Atalanta in January 2020.

To date, he has made 65 appearances for Juve, and has won 20 caps for Sweden.

His key traits include technique, versatility, physicality and unselfishness on the pitch.

Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo is a big fan of the Swedish youngster.

“He is a great talent,” the Manchester United ace said in September 2020, as per Juvefc.com.

“He will help us to win and achieve incredible things.

“I really like to see him, he has a great potential, and he’s an excellent player.”
