Liverpool fans have been sweating on the fitness of forward Diogo Jota this week but Jurgen Klopp moved to put to bed any talk of that earlier today.

The Reds manager used his press conference to confirm that Jota is ‘fine’ ahead of the game with Newcastle this weekend.

Jota’s inclusion will be a huge boost for Liverpool, who face six huge games as they try and cement a place in the Champions League following a dismal season of injuries and results at Anfield.

After signing from Wolves in the summer, Jota has become key. His return from injury a few weeks back has, unsurprisingly, coincided with a sharp upturn in performance and results for the Reds.
