Tottenham Hotspur attacker Shilow Tracey is starting to make a name for himself away from Spurs on loan.
The 22-year-old joined Shrewsbury in September, and to date he has made five appearances in all competitions for the League One club.
Admittedly, it’s taken Tracey a while to make his mark, with just two league cameos off the bench and an EFL Trophy appearance prior to last week’s cup trip to Crewe.

However, he did so in style with a hat-trick against the Railwaymen, his efforts helping the Shrews finish top of Northern Group C.
Tracey was then rewarded with his first league start for Shrewsbury, in last weekend’s home meeting with Swindon.
Although Sam Ricketts’ charges were pegged back at the end for a 3-3 draw, Tracey’s display was considered one of their brighter points of the day.
“Has come from shadows in last week to be a real option,” wrote the Shropshire Star, who gave him 7 out of 10. “Ran and ran, gave his all. Superb heart and quality too out wide.

With Tracey’s contract expiring next summer, he’s strapped for time in terms of giving Jose Mourinho and his coaches food for thought, but given his sudden upturn in form, they should certainly be keeping a close eye on him.
If he continues to shine, then they should certainly offer him new terms, either with a view to first-team minutes or at least to ensure they can get some money from a sale.
