Leipzig star and Arsenal first-team ace laud Emile Smith Rowe on Instagram

Emile Smith Rowe stole the show during a 4-0 win for Arsenal over Slavia Prague and received some messages of congratulations on Instagram afterwards.

The youngster was in fine form as the Gunners possessed too much power for their Czech counterparts to progress into the final four of the competition for the second time in three years.

Smith Rowe has been a revelation since being handed his first Premier League start of the season in December. He has scored five goals and registered seven assists during the campaign.

After last night’s game, he received congratulations from Leipzig star Tyler Adams, Arsenal talent Zech Medley and first-team star Calum Chambers.

The 20-year-old really has come of age during the 2020/21 campaign and is now thriving in the Gunners team.

He has developed a strong rapport with the club’s supporters and there really is no ceiling on the Hale End graduate’s talents.

Smith Rowe can operate on the left-hand side or in the No.10 role and he’s become a really integral part of Mikel Arteta’s team.

The praise on Instagram is just rewards for his efforts and supporters can’t wait to get back into the stadiums to watch him strutting his stuff.

On £20,000-a-week it’s impossible to call him established just yet but if his performances continue, a new contract is likely to be in the offing.

Arsenal have been inconsistent in the Premier League this season and that will need to improve next season.

Arteta has worked wonders in utilising the club’s younger players though and for that, the boss should be congratulated.

Supporters will hope this is just the start for Smith Rowe.
