Leicester have their next star in loanee Harvey Barnes
Leicester City currently have a host of players out on loan during the 2018/19 season and some are faring better than others.
Filip Benkovic deserve special credit for his performances during a temporary stint at Celtic, but the club’s next breakthrough star is currently out on loan elsewhere.
Harvey Barnes has been tearing it up at West Brom since he joined the Championship side on a season-long loan and is surely the next breakthrough star at the King Power Stadium.
The 21-year-old is playing a crucial role in the club’s push for promotion in the competitive Championship and looks a special talent.
He is a left-winger that has already been directly involved in 15 goals across all competitions this season and is causing havoc on defences on a weekly basis, with his nifty dribbling and long-range shooting.
There certainly seems a clear path for him at the Foxes in the near future, whether that be when his loan expires at the end of the season or if they try to cut it short in January.
Barnes deserves his crack in the top flight and can definitely add some extra creativity to the Foxes going forward.
Leicester potentially have three exciting young English talents to fit into the starting XI in forward areas with Barnes, Demarai Gray and James Maddison all future stars.
They may not need to go spend a colossal sum on finding their next star, as their loanee is right under their nose and looks a real gem.
